NitroModles P-51 Miss America
I have an engine question about the NitroModels P-51 Hot Miss America.
I have a spare Saito 125 four stroke engine that I would like to use for this plane.
Is this engine a suitable size and power for the NitroModles P-51 Hot Miss America?
Thanks

You probably could do it, although it will be a bit overpowered.
The biggest problem will be the cutouts for the engine, and having to mount the engine inverted to get the best fit.
I'd at the least try to strengthen the firewall with additional blocks and expoxy.
The engine weight should not be a big issue as you can merely move the battery backwards.

RE: NitroModles P-51 Miss America
I'm flying the P51 with a ST.75 with a 13x6 APC. It flies okay, but its not overly fast. So, I'd that would be minimum power. Not sure of its weight, but its got to be 9.5 to 10 lbs. Its flying okay, but with 6 flights so far, I haven't gotten one right without it come to a stop with its nose up. It sure needs to come in faster than most sport planes or it'll stall.
I have the .60 size plane, if you have the bigger one, the 1.25 should work I would think?
