P51 Nitromodels and retracts
I've got a P51 from Nitromodels, using a .91 2-cycle and 14x8 prop it flyes like a killing godzilla
Unfortunatly the retracts dont like my rather hard landings, even on flat and nice ice. So does anyone know of optional retractssystems that I could use - i need something more robust and with a tighter fit than the original.
Would this fit: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXA798&P=7
Any ideas appreciated.

What I do is pull out a ruler and measure the openings.
The I look for the dimension sheets on the manufacturer's web site and compare this against my measurements, knowing that I may have to do a bit of wood carving to get a great fit.
You should be OK with retracts made for a plane of the same size or slightly larger, preferably larger.
