Default New F-4 Phantom question!

Hey guys I just got my F4 phantom. I plugged in battery to set servos on the wings. It beeped 5 times but the controls don't work. The manual says to turn on the plane but I don't see any on off switch, Can anyone help me?

Plugging in the battery is turning on the plane.

Is the transmitter on and the throttle full low and low trim?

Now I get a 2nd plane and the electronics don't work? The instruction manual is crap. Can anyone help me? Why are my controls not working? The battery is fully charged.

Ya even if I didn't have the main wing servos plugged in the throttle control should still work.
