Default What Prop for 73" Cap 232, Saito 180

I am restoring an older Hanger 9, 120, 73" Cap 232. It weights about 13#s. I am using a Saito 180. The Saito manual suggests props in the 16/6 to 16/8 range. That seems to small to me. I bench tested the engine with a 16/7 and she peaked at 9,100 rpm. Some guys think I should be in the 18" range. I am more of a sport/aerobatic flyer than 3D. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Dave

I run an 18x6 on my GP Giant Chipmunk witha Saito 1.80...a 16x8 would be good too...
