RE: Sukhoi SU-26 85cc-100CC - 101" Giant Scale 3D Nitro-Power RC Airplane ARF
I just got mine in yesturday and the kit looks great. I just ordered 8 Hitec 7955's from TBMand they are at $87 each. You could probably use 5645 but the extra speed and power 333oz. at 6 volts. TBM seems to be the cheapest of all the stores. I have a DLE 111cc engine for the plane, right now (http://www.southeastrcengines.com/index.html) has the engine for $599 as an intro price. I have a 50cc, 100cc and both of them are one of the most powerful and smoothest engines I've seen. You can contact me about my setup and hardware if you want.

Hey, just wanted you toknow what is was going to take to setup this with electronics. This setup is the same for my Lanier Edge 540 94" that has the 100cc DL instead of the 85cc the plane called for. The motor cranks on the 4 flip everytime and it is not even broken in, maybe 10 flights so far.

RE: Sukhoi SU-26 85cc-100CC - 101
I bought the 50- 60 CC version of the Sukoi 26 and put the 56 DLA in it. This is my first giant scale stunt plane. I have the Hitec 5645's which from what you have said sould be plenty. Is there anything speciifc about th plane to consider balance, weight or power wise? Thanks

There was nothing to report about the kit except for the problem with the gear. Mine was a 2 piece setup and it keeps trying to tear the sides if the inner box lose. I drilled all the way from one side to the other and used 10-24 all thread between the sides. Inthe inner box where the cans go you can cut 2 pieces of broom stick to go between the sides. You have to have a way to drill throgh the dowell to run the allthread through it. Then when you tighten up the all thread it holds the inner box together. I beely flopped mine at about 60 mph and the gear rolled back up under the wings but didn't get lose. I dont think I have any pictures but I will look. www.youtube,com/magiccitycomputers
