ESC for 70mm fan
I was reading the forum on the ESC manual for the f-22,f-18 and saw that the ESC is said to be just like the Suppo brand. If this is true then my 50A ESC can take 7 cell LiPo? Would like to know if I can run more cells for more speed.

An ESC does not determine the total AMP draw of your power system, nor is it the only limiting factor.
If you have the ESC with the separate BEC you MAY be able to increase the voltage, by increasing the cell count.
If you do this you run the risk of burning out the ESC or the motor, so you are best off lowering the PWM and timing if you increase the voltage.
As you increase the Voltage, you also need to offset that by LOWERING the amperage draw to keep the ESC within it's rated range.
As it is, the included ESC runs VERY close to it's limits ( at least on mine, with the EDF properly balanced... ) and even incorrect Timing and PWM settings will burn it out.
Normally with other planes, we decrease the prop size or the size of the EDF to offset the increase in voltage, to balance things out.
However you will not be able to do that.
If you truely want to increase the voltage, you are better off replacing the ESC and BEC with another one capable of sustaining higher voltage.
However you will then have another problem... fitting the now larger and heavier batteries into the plane.
