Sounds normal.

Your EsC is not seeing the proper throttle position to arm itwelf.

Try running the throttle up to full and hold it there until the beeps change.

Then bring it all the way down again, including the throttle trim.

I will try that. I hope that is the case here as well.
Now I can't wait to go home from work, to try that :-)

At any paste, thank you.
I will post again what is the outcome.

Most ESC's have an arming/calibration process and it is likely that is what you are running into.

I assume that the servos do move, however, which verifies that the RX is working properly.

I am very upset, I tried running the throttle up to full and hold it there until the beeps change.
Nothing was changed. As a matter of fact now there is no sound or light coming from the ESC.
I charged the battery that was included in this RTF, just to be safe. And nothing!!!!

I can control all the surface, but the motor or the esc show no sign of life.

[&o] I am a very unhappy customer right NOW!!!!!

Please help.

You said the "beeps changed" when you ran the throttle all the way up.

This is good. It indicates that the throttle channel is working as is the ESC.

It sounds like everything is working as it should be.

However you have not initialized the ESC, so it is not ARMing properly.

Do this...

0 - Bind your transmitter with your plane all over again.
1 - Turn on the transmitter
2 - Put the throttle TRIM all the way down.
3 - Put the throttle all the way down.
4 - Plug in the plane to it's battery ( turn on the plane ).
5 - Move the throttle all the way up, wait LESS than one second.
6 - Move the throttle all the way down.

Try recharging the battery as well. The ESC will not arm or beep if the voltage is too low.... but it still will provide power to the servos.

ok, now i extremely frustrated :-(

I just came home and turned on the transmitter and than connected battery (fully charged) to the receiver in the Mig 15.
The receiver light is blinking. and the servos are not responsive. I think I need ti bind it to the transmitter but am not sure how to do that.

Can someone please let me know quick how to bind the RC systems of the Mig 15?

Thanks

I did exactly that:

0 - Bind your transmitter with your plane all over again.
1 - Turn on the transmitter
2 - Put the throttle TRIM all the way down.
3 - Put the throttle all the way down.
4 - Plug in the plane to it's battery ( turn on the plane ).
5 - Move the throttle all the way up, wait LESS than one second.
6 - Move the throttle all the way down.

and NOTHING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the servos works fine! the motor and ESC shows NOTHING!!!!!!
I am in a new level of frustration!!!!!!

Default RE: Mig15 :-(

Here is exactly what is happening with my Mig15 right now.
First, a little background, I had the maiden flight, it flies very well, I flew for 5 minutes and then I felt the airplane has no power so I glided it and run perfectly on the runway.
Afterwards, the motor never worked again.
The same day when I got home, I turn the Tx on, than plugged the Battery. All servos worded fine , the ESC made beep noise at the beginning and was blinking red, you can see the motor is a little bit revolves forward and backwards randomly.

Yesterday I charged the Battery to %100, this time the Tx was not bind to the Rx, I eventually figured out how to re-bind it and again all servos works fine.
But, no movement or light from the ESC or the motor.
I tried to do this process:
0 - Bind your transmitter with your plane all over again.
1 - Turn on the transmitter
2 - Put the throttle TRIM all the way down.
3 - Put the throttle all the way down.
4 - Plug in the plane to it's battery ( turn on the plane ).
5 - Move the throttle all the way up, wait LESS than one second.
6 - Move the throttle all the way down.

But nothing was happening!!!!
BTW, when I plug the battery and the Tx is off, there is a blinking red light from the esc, but no sound at all.

I need help here guys; hope someone can once and for all guide me.
I need to know if I am forgetting to do something, or the maybe the Motor/ESC is faulty.

Thank you

Dvir

The sound actually comes from the motor, not the ESC as the ESC has no mechanism to produce sound directly.

If you are hearing nothing it could also be that the connectors to the motor have become unplugged.

Check these too.

At worst PM John here ( Nitrostaff1 ) and reference this thread.

It might be the case, that the connectors to the motor have become unplugged, however, the way the Mig15 built, and since it came as an RTF, I can't access the motor or the ESC :-( they located in the middle of the body, between the 2 wings. I will have to cut the airplane in 2, to be able to access them :-(

BTW, thanks for the correction for the source of the beep.

I hope there is a simple solution for that Nitro Support :-(

DvirNoiman, Try this: Turn on the TX put thorttle all the way to full thorttle, Plug in the BAT on the plane, wait for the ESC to Beep[Maybe twice or maybe three times} Put thorttle back to full closed, WAIT for beeps again. Then unplug the plane BAT. Now plug the
plane back in and see what she does now?

Tried what you suggested. No beeps what so ever.
I noticed that there is a blinking light in the esc when the Tx is off, when I turn it on the light disapears.

I disassembled thr Mig15 as you suggested in out phone conversation. (Btw, Spoke with another guy at support, he left you a note to call me back)

I took 3 picture of the Mig , so you can see the Mig-15 with its guts open. All connector look good, but motoe still does not work. NOt sure how to attach it to this post. Maybe I can Email them to you.

John, I am looking forward your call, no one contacted me from NitroModel as promise in various Email.
The long weekend is almost here, and my MIg-15 I got from NitroModels is grounded! [&o]

My order number is: 589571

Full name is: Dvir Noiman, zip code: 33323

Send the new motor and esc to me asap please. What about the fan unit? are you including that too? (how do you seperate it from the motor anyway?)

The motor and ESC are conected together and wrapped with shrinking plastic.

I hope to get the motor and esc quick.

ok I'll exchange the entire plane for you because this is much better choice. I can not be sure if the new ESC and motor will fix the problem. Instead of keep sending parts I'll exchange the entire plane for you upon return. RMA issued.

Ok, I understand.

How should I sent the airplane back to you?(should I take it a part?) what is the best way to ship it in order to it to be protected in the voyage?

Also, I don't understand, after all the previous frustration you expect me to wait even more, after I have waited without being contacted by nitroplanes as promised!
I believe that if everything, you should sent me the new airplane and only THEN I will send you the one I have in the same package of the new one.

Please honor your sale as I will owner my promise. You must understand that I am growing very impatient and frustrated.
I am a loyal customer of nitroplanes and expected to get what I paid for. I paid already around $20 for shipment of the original order.
I ask for someone to help me here.

David he offered to send you a brand new plane upon receipt of the original one.

Threatening, etc. is counter productive and liable to burn your bridge before crossing it. You are already ahead.

Ship it back and get the new one.

Chalk up the delays involved to something that happens now and then. It may be frustrating, but that's how it goes, it's not a big deal, as they ship things out quickly when in stock.
