Hi Flyboy. Nice video are there any dementions on these or what size and weight planes are they for? Are they all including the struts as they are not shown in the photos? Thanks Ed

These appear to be much stronger than they look on the web site.
I'm impressed with what you get.
The struts have anti-shock springs.
The connectors are all machined aluminum.
The struts look beefy but are still light.
They are sold for the Bobcat .50 but they can be used on many planes.
However the nose gear will require that you cut a larger opening on the Bobcat and FlyCat to permit the wheels to travel freely.

I haven't but I'm in the process of mounting them on a Bobcat 50.
They look stronger than the Robart retracts I used on a previous Bobcat ( which cost more ).
The struts have a thick steel inner wire, that goes into the retracts, holding the wider part of the struts up against the aluminum retract lever.
It would have been nice if they were offset to conform to my Bobcat, but I'm not complaining.

Are the struts pre tapped for the set screws ?? to me that is a huge deal , I would rather build a print wood 1920 kit then cut and tapped struts !!!
I just cant seem to lick that part of retracts , that is why I have used Cj and now Sierra vs robart. I do always use the robart regulators

Do you mean the screws from the strut base to the supporting wood?
Yes, but so are Robart struts, and others AFAIK.

The Struts are "gripped" by the landing gear, and there are screws in place to increase the applied force.
No tapping, etc is involved if you are using the provided struts.

It looks like the retracts & struts are also drop-ins for the Alektro dual motor plane.
I just received this plane and I'm going to order another set of struts for it.
