Battery for Exceed F/A-18C
I am considering buying this plane (http://www.nitroplanes.com/exrcfblanrec.html) and in the item description is says:
ARF-VERSION PACKAGE
70mm Ducted Fan (included)
Servos : Five 9G Servos (included)
Motor : 2836 Brushless Motor (included)
ESC : 45A (included)
Battery : 3-Cell 14.8V 2200mAH LiPo Battery (included)
Which is it? 3- Cell 11.1 V or 4-Cell 14.8 V?
I only ask because I have several 3S 2200Mah packs for my helis but no 4S packs. Would be pretty sweet if I didn't have to buy more packs right away.
Thanks,
Tony

It does not come with a battery.
The lowest cell count you can get away with on this plane is 4S, but you'll need a higher KV motor and a higher AMP ESC if you go with 4S, than you would with a 5 or 6S pack.
That said it flies fine on 4S.
Also you want a bigger sized pack.
I fly mine with 4S 3750mAh packs.
The 2200mAh 14.8v 4S packs only gives you around 3 minutes of flight, especially in a light wind.

RE: Battery for Exceed F/A-18C
I was looking at the Rx ready version at the link in my post.
According to the Item description is does come with a battery but no battery chager. Which is fine...chargers I have.

The battery which it comes with is enough for testing, but you'll want at least a pair of higher capacity packs for normal flying.
You will not be able to use your 3S packs though.
