Default T-28 landing gear

On my T-28 one of the main landing gears was out of alignment. I mounted it anyway and you can see the results. I took it off and with two pliers bent it back into proper shape - CAUTION that shinny metal landing gear was bent back into shape WAY TOO EASILY!

So a word to the wise......land gently

Default RE: T-28 landing gear

If it bent BACK into place with little effort, the metal may have fatigued under stress.

I would recommend getting some piano wire and bending a new set of gear if this has happened.

Otherwise the gear is likely to break the next time.
