EXI 500 Swash Very Tight...Just Got It Yesterday.
I have had 2 of these and on my newest one which just came yesterday, the swash plate is very tight. I took all the ball links off to be sure it was not the ball links that made it feel tight. It definitely is not the ball links. With all the ball links and linkages removed, if I move the swash plate by hand it is very tight. It slides on the mainshaft freely, but the swash plate itself is tight when you tilt it back and forth on the part that goes up and down on the main shaft(the ball shaped part in the center of the swash plate). I have applied Triflow lubricant to it, but it does not help. i have never seen a swashplate so tight so I suspect I will need a replacement.
