I FINIALLY got one of these beauties! Cant wait to get her in the air. I am already thinking of replacing the motor and batt to get more speed. I am also going to paint it make it look like the Aviano Ab F-16's

The stock setup produces good results.

I increased the amount of space available to fit 2650mAh 14.8v 4S LiPo's in the plane.

I flew it last week with this setup and the plane handled very well.

However it increased the nose heaviness of the plane. I may resort to adding a couple of ounces on the tail extensions to offset the larger pack.

Opjose, are you using the stock tx and rx? I plan on hand throwing the plane

I tried the stock TX/RX when I got it.

I saw that it worked, and then I removed it.

I prefer to use my own TX/RX so I could use it's advanced programming features...

I fly my F-15 with a JR 9503 and a Spektrum receiver.

I have it set up for flaperons, expo, etc.

Re: Hand throwing

Yes it has enough power to hand toss, and the gear snaps out cleanly.

I recommend putting thick tape down the bottom centerline to protect the fuselage.

Also the intake scoop can be broken off in landing as it is held only in the back by the strap. You may want to do something to re-inforce it's hold at the front.

I'd also put on a set of wing tip guards to protect the wings as well.

Grass tends to grab the servo linkages and anything that protrudes too.
