Portuguese Alpha Pro
Has anyone flown this, what do you think of it and has it been flown without the drop tanks?

Yes it flies great.
It is a bit faster without the drag of the drop tanks.
You DO need to be sure your battery packs and electronics are capable of handling the load the EDF and motor imposes w/o voltage sag.
