Un cured epoxy in Starfire

I received a Nitroplanes Starfire ARF in Mid October. This kit was factory assembled with soft un-cured "adhesive" attaching the bulkheads to the fuselage. With little or on effort I could scrape the glue off with a fingernail. Not one bulkhead but at least three when I stopped counting. I emailed Nitroplanes support to return the plane. Your response was "it's recommended to use YOUR OWN EPOXY". I saved the email if you want to see it. I am supposed to go back over your work and put new epoxy over soft, what ever it is that is already there? That is some kind of guarantee of satisfaction. This plane is unusable if for no other reason than the amount of epoxy required to "cover up" the bad work would result in a brick. What's the deal here?

Did they use hot glue instead of epoxy?

They didn't even use hot glue. I have used hot glue for some projects so I know what it looks and feels like. This stuff is soft like a bad mix of epoxy.

After this thread started along with initiating a Dispute Resolution through PayPal I have received a RMA number to return the kit. For what ever reason, my action or theirs, they seem to be honoring the guarantee.

I purchased one of these planes too.

I had no problems going over the fuselage formers with epoxy.

I regularly do this with all of my ARFs for safety.
