Default An OS 50sx question

Hello:

I have a 50sx on which, I want to try a carburetor with a directly attached needle valve.

In the crankcase, there is a bronze bush which the carburetor is inserted into. To fit the carburetor I want to fit, I need to remove the bronze bush.

I'm not able to figure out how to remove the bronze bush.

Could you please give me some advise on removing the bronze bush.

Thanks.

Bye, Ian

We're not sure what you are asking about. The O.S. Max 50-SX engine is a heli engine, and they all had the needle valves on the carburetor.

However, you might try heating the case to remove that bushing.

Default RE: An OS 50sx question

Hello Bill:

While it has been discontinued, there was also a 50sx made for aircraft. I have the aircraft version with a remote needle valve.

I will try heating the crankcase.

Thanks.

Bye, Ian
