Hello guys! Is the carburetor the only thing that is different between a 25 fx and a 32 sx? if so what carb would give me a lot more power from my 46 fx. thanks!

Sorry, but the two engines are not the same, except for the carburetor. The .32 SX has more displacement than the .25 FX.

The carburetor necks are of two different sizes, so the carb for one will not fit into the other engine.

You would not use either carb on the .46 FX. Just use the stock carb for the .46 FX and you'll be fine.

You want more power?? Try removing the baffle in the muffler - that will give you another 400-500 RPM or buy either a Performance Specialties or Jett Engineering tuned muffler for about $60-65 and that will get you about another 1000-1500 more RPM.

Default muffler

Mpilot,
I have one of the Ultra-Thrust mufflers for the 46FX engines for sale. It is not new but looks real good and could easily be cleaned up to look new. $46.00 shipped to you.

Thanks for the tips! I did not know that I could get that much power buy changing the muffler. I want to use the 46 in a sport scale plane the RV-6F that I'm trying to make more realistic. I need to keep it all in the cowling. that is why I wanted to know how to get more out of the engine it self.
