Default OS 70 Surpass

Questions: I have an old OS-70 Surpass, it has the chrome/silver head. It is before the surpass II. Does OS 70-Surpass also means FS70S ??

If so, is this the correct manual for OS70 Surpass (see attached manual link) http://manuals.hobbico.com/osm/34000-manual.pdf

Also, I noticed there is no gasket between the valve case and cylinder head. Is that normal or is there suppose to be a gasket there?

Thanks!!!

If you see a reference to the O.S. FS-70S, it means "FS-70 Surpass". No gasket is used with the rocker cover. The link is for the FS-70 Surpass manual.
