OS FL70 front bearing removal

The little drive pin broke and took the seal out of the front bearing. I have the new parts but cannot seem to remove the bearing. Is there a trick or something I am missing.

To remove bearings, you must heat the crankcase. However, the front bearing has nothing to do with sealing the crankcase. The metal shield is only to help keep dirt out of the bearing.
