Default oil content and type

I have both a 46 fx and an 91 4 stroke what type of oil is preferred for these engines and what percentage of the oil needs to be castor and synthetic if a blend is recommened or what percentage needed and type for a straight castor or synthetic. thanks rickey

O.S. states in their instructions that your fuel should contain no less than 18% oil content. Most of the model fuels on the market conform to that. The .46 is a non-ringed engine, and will work best with a castor/synthetic blend, or an all-castor fuel. The 1.60 FX is a ringed engine, and will accept an all-synthetic, an all-castor, or a castor/synthetic blend.
