OS GT33 shaft dia 8mm vs 10mm prop hole
Need some help.
Bought a new OS GT33 engine and discovered that the prop shaft is 8mm dia.
All the common gas props these days like Xoar. Mejzlik, PT CF, and the rest all have a 10mm shaft hole - leaving a difference of 2mm.
Does anyone know where I can find a bushing to fit inside the prop to make up the difference?
Not sure if the APC plastic bushings that come with props will work but I would prefer a metal one.
Any ideas or help? Seems like quite an oversight by OS.
Thanks!
Ken

If you can machine parts, you can machine a piece of brass tubing to the desired inside and outside diameters. You can buy a propeller with a smaller hole and drill it to fit...most wood props are like that. Finally, you can wrap the shaft with tape to build it up.
