Is there anywhere that I can get a nozzle assembly for a O.S. max 40 fp? The same part was used on the 35 fp also.

That part was discontinued in 2010, and is no longer available from us or from O.S., in Japan. support for the engine ceased quite a long time ago. Unfortunately, we'd have no idea where you might be able to locate that part.

Tower Hobbies stock number LX CR44 will work os number 1A,15 it says 15 size but they are the same as the 40 size max fp.

The part he mentions is:

OSMG7164 21181902 NEEDLE ASSY #1A/#15 US$10.99

If it fits, it should work OK. These parts can be ordered through any hobby retailer who sells O.S. Max engines and accessories.

Go to tower hobbies main page type in under search os needle valves it will bring up needle valves. LXCR44 $9.49 Limited stock.Says for 15 size engine, but it works for the 40 max fp engine to.

Hi,
I ordered the part from Tower and put it on my O.S. 40 fp. It worked good. I just had to open it an extra turn.
I will probably buy a couple more to keep on hand.
