Question OS FS@-56 fuel leaks at exhaust header pipe

The manual says to use silicon sealant on the exhaust header pipe. What kind? Same as I use to seal the tiles around my tub at home? or should I use Loctite (blue) on the header threads.

Thanks

Do not use the silicon sealant that's used in household applications. You need to use a high-heat variant that can take the temperatures of the exhaust system. Do not use locktite. It will either not hold due to the heat, or it will be almost impossible to remove your header (depending upon which one you use).

You can get the high-temperature sealant at an automobile parts store.
