Default 0% Nitro fuel on AX engines

As I get ready to break in a .55 AX engine, I read in the manual the recommendation of 5-15% nitro fuel.

I was hoping to use plain 20% castor oil / 80% methanol fuel.

Is there a problem with using fuel without nitromethane on this engine?

That won't be a problem. Just use a hotter glow plug. An older type A3 or the newer #6 plug will help out a lot. People all over the world fly O.S. engines with zero nitro in the fuel. The oil content is much more important! You blend will be very good for the engine.
