Default OS 61 FS Muffler?

I'm in need of a muffler for an older OS 61 FS and don't know where I can find one. I have an engine that runs very well but the back part of the muffler blew out and I couldn't find it. Anyone know where I can get one?

Thanks!

Jim

Here are the stock numbers and list prices of the parts you asked about:

OSMG6776 45625010 MUFFLER BODY FS70-91 $29.99

These parts can be ordered through any hobby retailer who sells O.S. Max engines and accessories.

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately, those parts won't fit an [b}OS 61 FS[/b] The 70-90 have much bigger exhaust tubes.

Hmmm, According to an old O.S. parts list, it shoudl work. The part number for the muffler body is the same, however, it's very possible that they've changed the part and kept the number. If it won't work, then we'd not know where you'd be able to locate the part. You'd have to check with those hobby retailers who sell to the engine collectors' market. They usually advertise in the back of the model magazines.

You could also place an item wanted ad here in RCU.
