Are OS Engines still made in China
A number of years ago, I purchased an OS46AXII only to find that it was made in China. The engine was bad. No matter what I did, it would not hold a consistent idle. With every flight, I had to adjust the needle valve. Up to then, this was unheard of with an OS engine; maybe a little tweak at the start of flying to account for temperature and humidity, but that was it. I eventually scraped this piece of junk and haven't purchased an OS engine since.
Recently, someone told me that OS pulled their manufacturing out of China. I would like to confirm if this is true or not true.
