Default Older OS .46 VRM Marine

I have recently purchased an older .46 VRM ABC marine engine, new. my question is what is the recommended % nitro to run in this. I want overrall good performance with longlasting life, I am starting with cool power 20 % nitro, 20 % oil. Lastly , how can I tell if I am getting proper cooling thru my water pick-up to the engine and exhaust coupling. I dont have any temp devices to measure with. is too much as bad as not enough water.. thanks

Hi, gene! that's a fine choice of fuel, it will give you good performance and reasonable longevity.

As far as cooling, the engine's perfomrance is your easiest gauge of its temperature. Too much water is never a bad thing, no, as the more cool water going past the engine the more heat it will pull away from it.
