Thanks for the help with the glow plugs. . . here's my next (hopefully) minor problem with my OS 1.40.

At idle, the engine seems to misfire and kick back (is this preignition??) one revolution every 1-2 seconds both on the ground and in the air. It doesn't seem to be enough to stop the engine from running, but it sends a pretty good shock back thru the airframe. When I increase RPM about 500 more all the way thru full throttle, the engine runs great.

Maybe this is just a minor problem, but overall this is a great engine!!

If the idle's erratic, but the mixture's OK, are you just trying to idle the engine too slowly? That can make the symptoms you're describing.
