O.S 502 pipe system...
Bill..
Exactly what benifits can i expect from the 502 tuned pipe system, i,m thinking % on performance and noise levels..got the pie just going round the needed headers for the 1.20 FSIII & .91FSIIP ..lovley engineering ...absolutely.!.bit heavy...but..! Dave.

RE: O.S 502 pipe system...
O.S. hasn't published any performance figures on the #502 pipe system for their four-stroke engines. Normally, though, you'd be able to reduce noise with little or no power loss, especially when compared to the stock muffler. You would not get the very noticeable power increase that you see with the two-stroke pipes. That's because you don't get the supercharging effect that happens on the two-strokes. Mainly, you'll get more efficient exhaust extraction and reduced back pressure and still have effective muffling.
