Default Another FS-26 question

I noticed Tower has a limited supply of the FS-26's which I think is great, however I read in the description that it says to use 2-stroke fuel as a starting point 10-15% nitro, I'm curious why that is. Right now I'm using wildcat 20% with 20%oil (4-stroke) and have put maybe 1 quart through the motor. It runs ok but of course it is still in the break-in stage. Why the 2-stroke and what are the major differences? From your personal experience what type of fuel would you suggest in a car application? Thanks for all your help so far.

Default RE: Another FS-26 question

"Two-stroke" fuel usually has more oil than "four-stroke" fuel. The fuel you're using with 20% oil content is just fine. Normally two-stroke fuel is about 18% or so, and four stroke is 16% or less.
