Default OS BGX-1 Tuning

Does anyone have a procedure to tune this beast's low end needle? I have yet been able to get it to transiton without "stumbling".

Default RE: OS BGX-1 Tuning

There is no specific procedure to adjust the carburetor of your O.S. Max BGX-1 3500. We start out with the idle mixture very rich, get the top-end set and then go to the idle mixture. If the engine's hesitating when you try to accelerate, it usually means that the idle is a bit low. Increase the idle RPM slightly, and then lean the idle mixture a bit. Any idle RPM below 2,300 or so is good. While you can get much lower idle RPM, the transition can become troublesome.
