Default .18CV-RX

Hi,

Is the FS-18SR, thats fitted in the Tamiya TNX, the same as the .18CV-RX? (apart from the electric\pull start)

If they are the same/similar - can the electric start on the tamiya engine be used with the CV-RX?

And if they are not the same, how do they compare power output wise?

Thanks

Rob

We're not familiar with the engine used in the Tamiya R/C cars. It's one we don't service, and have not seen one of those in our service shop. We'd not know how close it might be to other O.S. engines.

Default RE: .18CV-RX

Thanks for getting back to me, I thought the engine in the tamiya truck was made by OS or at least in conjunction with them.

It looks identical to the 18CVRX. If you hear anything in the near future - would you let me know please.

Thanks again,

Rob
