Default 46 fx with bisson muffler - lack of presure?

hi i have a 46fx that will require a pitts style muffler and i know that it will lake presure because of the twin exhaust, so will blocking one give the same effect as the stock muffler, also can too much back presure effect the performance of the motor in a negative way.
thanks.

Default RE: 46 fx with bisson muffler - lack of presure?

We've not heard of any difficulties with the O.S. Max .46 FX when other-brands of mufflers are used.

With any engine, too much back pressure will degrade performance and possibly cause the engine to overheat.
