Default OS 140RX Fuel lines

I have a 140RX engine in my pattern plane trying to make the maiden run in/ flight tomorrow and usually using YS engines with a check valve. I ran the clunk line to a fuel filter then to the pump. the vent line i have run to the side of the plane terminating in a fuel dot. so in other words the vent line is plugged the second line goes to the pump. Is this correct or is the vent line supposed to be left open? I read the instructions and am just a little unsure.
Thanks
Dennis

You must have a vent line. The vent would run from the tank front top and exit the bottom of the model. A separate fuel line from the front bottom of the tank to a fuel dot would be used for filling. The vent would also be your overflow to indicate a full tank.
