Default .91 fourstroke and 25% nitro

Last night we made a test run with the .91 four stroke engine using 25% nitro fuel and the performance was greatly enhanced from the previous flight using only 15% nitro.

I would like to know what effects on the engine this would have?

Thanks.

Default RE: .91 fourstroke and 25% nitro

25% nitro won't particularly hurt the engine. The increase power output means that the engine will suffer more wear than if you used lower nitro, and it won't last as long. That's just relative information, no true numbers are available. "Your mileage may vary".

Make sure it's not detonating. Detonation with the higher nitro fuel will happen more easily, and THAT will cause significant damage if allowed to proceed for a while.
