Default "46FX" how long to brake-in ??

so after about 11,12 gallon's (half way threw this last gallon) my son's SO 46FX plane motor started to run with noticeably more power and RPM, and use's less fuel (Wildcat 10% 10/16),,, shouldn't it only take a few gallon's to brake-in ??

or maybe it was just a late bloomer ???

My OS .46FX likes 15% nitro and its made by omaga. It took exactly 1 1/2 days to fully break my engine in to the point of perfect transition. gl

Normally, the O.S. Max .46 FX engine should be well run-in by the time it's had a gallon or two of running time. If it took 11-12 gallons' worth of fuel, then something was done incorrectly. Even if it was overly tight, it shouldn't take that much running to come into its best performance range.
