Cline and Associates Regulators
I am using a Cline and Associates "regulator" with a Moki 2.35 in a Lanier Stinger, which is my rough field airplane. .
This Moki has been one of the most reliable and powerful model airplane engines I have ever flown, and after a few initial kinks the Cline fuel feed system has been great. This set up has a beautiful slow idle, and it will idle forever.
It is not a perfect world however.
This side mounted engine will quit when the airplane is flown inverted. It does not quit at the top of a loop but after rolling inverted in level flight.
I have checked the fuel tank and the pickup line is the right length and flexibility to reach the top of the tank when necessary and clears the end of the tank.
Any ideas?
