Default OS 120 Surpass

I just picked up a pre-built plane at a sale. The plane has an OS Surpass 120 on it. I'm curious how to identify it. It has a pump on it, and a silver head cover, so I didn't believe it was the III model. If it is the II model, where would I find a product manual?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Default OS 120 Surpass

flyboy,

If your engine has a large brass screw in the center of the pump, it's an original FS-120 Surpass engine. If it has no brass screw in the center of the pump, and a velocity stack on the carb intake, then you have an O.S. Max FS-120 Surpass II.

Original FS-120 Surpass engines had a #C12 carb, and the FS-120 Surpass II engines had a #C13 carb.

You can download the isntructions for the FS-120 Surpass II from:
