Default Old O.S 48 FS

Hello, I have found my O.S 48 FS and am planning to mount and run it again, it hasnt been kept in oil or anything and hasnt been run in lets say at least 9 years. When i turn over the engine there is like no pinch from the head and it turns over way too easily and dryly.
How can i bring it back to working order?

It's a ringed engine therefore there will be no pinch. It should have some compression once it is oiled.

Oil it, check/adjust the valve timing, inspect the bearings and replace if necessary. A complete tear-down and cleaning is even better.

You can still purchase piston rings if the compression is shot.

I have an old one that I purchased used. It runs great.
