I need parts
I need some help finding some old OS max 40sr parts. I need a piston ring and cylinder. I have 3 vintage aircraft I would like to put up. and have the engines already but they are very weak in compression. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also can any body tell me the difference between the os40fsr and the os40sr. Can I use the parts from an fsr in an sr engine?

The FSR-series of O.S. Max engines have been out of production long enough that parts for them are no longer available, except for the 1.08. The only way to locate parts for your engine would be to contact one of the many retailers who sell old parts for the collectors' market. They usually advertise in the model magazines with small ads or in the classified section. You can also check the RCU marketplace or other open-selling type sites.
