RE: Long or short plug OS 46 LA
Honestly, don't know the difference between the two, but OS recomends A5 over #8 (but this later one can be used if nothing more is available)

It uses a long reach plug, like the O.S. #8. Small engines such as .10's and 15's use the short reach plugs because of the head material thickness.

From the 46LA manual:
"GLOWPLUG
An O.S. A3 glowplug is installed in the engine.
Other recommended O.S. plugs are Nos.8 and A5.
Carefully fit plug finger-tight, before final tightening
with the correct size plug wrench."

RE: Long or short plug OS 46 LA
Thanks Guys, I flew my Extra Easy with the 46 LA and #8 long plug in it today and it ran great! 10% nitro fuel and it had a nice quick throttle response from idle to WOT. My 46 LA didn't come with a plug! Maybe they forgot to put it in the box at the factory? Thanks, Prop
