Default O. S. 1.60 FX FI

Can the O. S. 1.60 FX FI EC2 be connected to a 6 volt receiver system or is it limited to 4.8 volts? Does the injector (basically a solenoid) generate a level of RFI that would require it be isloated on it's own power supply (seperate battery)? The manual does not address these issues and the nice folks on the U.S. O. S. support lines don't know jack about this engine. HELP!

We've never run the engine with anything other than the specified battery pack. O.S. recommends no other.

In our experience, there are no RFI difficulties at all with this engine. You just connect it, set it up per the manual, and it runs very well.

Thanks Bax. Your reply is a big help. I realy did not want the complication of a second battery. I can live with the standard 4.8 V. system however.
