why dis-continue the cvr.12?
Hey all. Just wondering why? I never heard a thing about it. went to towers web toget a second one for 99 buxs(sweet motor and price)only to find it d/c. tell me they are not replacing it with the tg which i believe has 30% less HP. Does anyone besides tower or e-bay sell new cvr.12? Thanks for reading. Dan.

RE: why dis-continue the cvr.12?
Thanks Bill. So is the tg at 0.7ps(?) stonger than the cvr at 1 bhp? Cause if it is i'm in. I thought the cvr(1hp) was between the cv(0.56hp) and tz(1.4+hp) series. later Dan

Bump for more TG info.
Odd question from someone who is coming over from the electric world:
Can you compare nitro engines to electric motors? Like a TZ would be like a 10T and a CV would be a stock and maybe a TG would be a Spec 19? Or is that a dumb question?
Our track is real tight and has very little room to accelerate for the jumps. Fortunately it is designed for electrics so it isn't all chewed up by 1/8 scale buggies.
What engine would suit us best? I am guessing traction is going to be our biggest limiter. My son goes faster with his stock motor than any of our mods. (RC10B2)

Was just at towers site and saw that the .12 cvr is back on sale for the old price of $109. Calling tomorrow. Dan[8D]
