46FX vs 55AX

Does the 55AX have the same mounting holes as the 46FX?

Yes it does, I have both engines. The 55 will fit in the mount without any mods at all.

Both engines have these mounting specs:

Width between mounting holes same side: 0.69" (17.5mm)
Width between mounting holes opposite side: 1.7" (44mm)
