Default Factory slide carb settings for OS Max 12CV

One of the guys at work has asked me to have a look at his nitro rc car.

It's a Graupner 1/10th scale Mini Cooper fitted with an OS Max 12CV(2.11cc,all black crankcase and head).

It has a twin needle slide carb.If it's primed up it'll run for around 2-3 seconds and cuts out,so it seems like it's not getting enough fuel through.
The slide idle stop is set so that I have a 1-2.5mm slide opening when it's in the idle position.
I can pump fuel upto the carb, but I'm not sure how many turns to give the high rpm or the idle rpm needles as there are no instructions with it.
Could someone please give me the factory settings for the two needles so that I can get it to run and fine tune it from there.

Cheers,Mark

The engine and carburetor instructions are here:

http://www.osengines.com/manuals/index.html

The carb will have its model-type scribed onto the face.

Hello Bill.

Many thanks for that.
It looks like 10E on the carb(rear face of the carb, nearest to the engine casting,so we'll see what we can do to get this little rascal howling.
