what head will fit on the os 18tz.. will anything made for a .12 tz work. I assume the 18 cvr and tm are the same?

These parts can be ordered through any hobby retailer who sells O.S. Max engines and accessories.

The l.18 CV-R and .18 TM engines are not the same and have different parts.

are the head and button the same . as a 18 cvr or 12 tz.. or any other O.S. I was looking for aftermarket heads..

Engines of different sizes will take different heads. The head and button are two parts that go together when you install them on the engine. Both are required. You'll have to ask in a car forum or other general engines forum for information on after-market parts. This is for O.S. Support only.

I agree that your correct many are different sizes however many share head patterns and similiar button designs... IE Od of button is same as ID of a head of a 12 tz however the 18 may have a different sleeve fitment.. the button may work...


. I am looking into a different head for a 18TZ.. if there are any similiarities I would like to know.. or if you know the OD of the button I could try to spec a Head that direction.. or if you know any os specific heads that share the same od of the button and are 4 bolt.. ( basically retaining my old button in the new head) I really thought the best to answer this question would have been OS..

We can only recommend O.S. parts. We do not know what manufacturers may make modification parts for O.S. engines.
