Default peak torque range for OS FS70

Could you please give me a peak torque rpm range to shoot for with my FS70? I'm now turning a 13x6 at around 10,300. I don't want to over- rev the engine and I want to prop it for peak torque. Thanks for your help

Default peak torque range for OS FS70

We don't have a number for peak torque on the O.S. Max FS-70. We normally prop the engine to turn in the mid- to high-9,000's, which gives it good top-end power, good idle, and good transition.

We normally use an APC 12x9 prop and see high-9,000's. An APC 12 x 8 will see in teh 10,000's. Either prop won't hurt your engine.

If you prop the engine to give you a static RPM on the ground of high-9,000's or low-10,000's, and it flies your model the way you want it to fly, then you have selected the correct propeller.
