OS manual _vs_ break-in
In another thread, the OS rep was quoted as saying:
Why does the factory manual evidently give an incorrect break-in procedure for the FX engines? If you followed the procedure in the manual could this be a warranty issue?
I have two SX engines (15 and 61), both broken-in per the manual, and an FT 120 Twin, not yet broken-in. Are there known break-in (or other) errors in the manuals included with these engines?
If you purchased an OS ring-less engine and followed the manual, alternating between four-cycle and two-cycle, you may have harmed your engine.
