What is the maximum distance that a fuel tank can be located from an OS91FX engine? I want to located the fuel tank at the center of gravity of the plane so the balance point will be independent of fuel level. At this location, the front of the tank would be about 8 inches from the back of an OS91 engine with a stock muffler. Would this distance lead to fuel delivery issues?

Yes, that far away, and you'll need a pump or a pressure system with regulator. A fuel tank right behind the firewall would not need help to get fuel to the engine.
