Default OS 140 RX With muffler

Hi ,all

i have one 140 rx , and i want to put it on a 3D Plane (like YAK 54 Or Extra or somethinh plane like that), the problem is becouse that planes dont have pipe tunnel , can we use a mufller like bissom or a mini pipe? or the engine dont work ?.

The O.S. Max 1.40 RX doesn't need a tuned pipe to run well. You can use a muffler, if you find one to fit.

so , if i make my own header thath get into the bisson(or something like that) it can work well? the distance does not matter?

That muffler is for the 4-stroke engines. It won't fit the 1.40 RX engine, which has a different type of exhaust port.

Distance is irrelevant. You just need to make sure that the exhaust system has good flow-through. The chamber needs good volume for silencing.
