Help ! Os200-P Low RPM
Hi, i just brought a OS FS200-P , i have follow the break in procedeer accoding to the menu ...... i use a smaller prop to run it 16x10 APC .
After a galoon on the test stand i changed to 16x12 apc , rpm reading i get is 6200 only , can get the rpm up ?? than i use a 16x10apc still rpm 6200 to 6300 only ??!
Can someone please give advise or help please ........ with this power i can fly my 2m pattern plane .... !![]

To turn higher RPM, you'll need a propeller with either a smaller diameter or less pitch. The 16 x 12 prop is very large in pitch, which will slow your engine.
Select a propeller that will allow your engine to turn around 8,000-8,500 RPM at full throttle on the ground when leaned to just rich of peak RPM. If the propeller will allow your airplane to fly the way you desire, then it's the correct propeller, otherwise try different propellers that will give you the same RPM.
Remember, O.S. chooses propellers that will work on the engine and still have very, very low noise. Noise is very strictly regulated at most Japanese flying clubs, and O.S. suggests propellers for maximum noise reduction and not necessarily best power output. To make a plane fly better at the low RPM you get with a low-noise prop, you need to make the plane lighter.

RE: Help ! Os200-P Low RPM
There is something wrong in your engine, maybe a leaking valve ?
My FS-200S with Perry oscillating pump and Hatori exhaust is turning APC 16x12 7800rpm with 30% nitro. This is the combination i'm running now in my 2m pattern plane.
